Deleting your HK Logistics driver account
HK Logistics Group Ltd · app: HK Logistics (com.bookonsolutions.hkdriver) · Last updated 8 October 2026
This page explains how to have your driver account and personal data removed, and exactly what is removed and what is not. You do not need the app installed to make the request.
How to ask
From the app — open the app, go to Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account. You will be shown what happens and asked to confirm.
Without the app — write to HK Logistics Group Ltd, Wood Street, London E17 3NU, or telephone +44 20 3983 5407, and say that you want your driver account deleted. Give your name and the mobile number or email address the account uses so we can identify it.
We will confirm when it has been done.
What is deleted
Your personal information is removed:
- Your name, date of birth, address and home postcode, email address and telephone numbers, nationality and your emergency contact
- Your National Insurance number and driving licence number
- The documents you uploaded, including your licence, insurance and right-to-work paperwork, and copies of documents you sent back to the office — the files themselves are deleted
- The photographs and paperwork sent with a vehicle request (V5C, insurance, MOT and vehicle photographs), files included — except a document that became part of an approved vehicle's fleet record, which stays with that vehicle
- Your profile photograph, file included
- The location recorded when you applied, and its place name
- Your location history — the trail of position points recorded while you were on duty
- The network (IP) address, device details and app installation identifier stored with your sign-ins, your phone's push token, your two-factor settings, the sign-in and verification codes sent to you, and the app diagnostics your phone sent
- The notices sent to you and the record of notifications pushed to your phone; the records of emails and texts sent to you no longer hold your address, number or a text's wording
- The position, network address and device recorded with any vehicle request you sent
- What you wrote in sickness and absence reports, and any fit note
- The details office notices copied — changes you asked for to your address, National Insurance number, date of birth or nationality, what you wrote in an absence request, and where you applied from — which are replaced by a neutral sentence
- Your full name, from office notices, alerts and activity entries that named you (what happened stays)
- Your sign-in, which is disabled — you will be signed out and will not be able to use the app again unless you register afresh
What is kept, and why
HK Logistics Group Ltd is required by UK business, tax and employment law to keep records of work carried out and money paid for at least six years. Those records also belong to deliveries made for customers, who have their own rights over the proof of delivery.
So the following are kept, attached to a record that no longer holds your personal details:
- Completed jobs, their times, mileage and outcomes, and the positions that are part of them (where you arrived, where a delivery was proved, where a parcel was scanned or a job photograph or incident report was made)
- Pay records, settlements, expenses (with their receipts) and deductions
- Proof of delivery: signatures and photographs taken at the point of delivery
- Working-time records, and the dates and type of any absence
- Incidents, documents you signed and policies you acknowledged
Some of these contain your name or your own words as they were written at the time — a job's history shows who moved it on, and messages and emails with the office and documents you signed are kept as they are. Those stay with the record until its own retention period ends. The audit trail of changes is kept for its retention period too, and can contain details as they were at the time, such as the contact details and the location recorded when you applied.
When a kept record reaches the end of its own retention period, what happens depends on the kind of record. Location points, sign-in records, app diagnostics, the records of notifications, emails and texts, sign-in codes, read notices, resolved alerts, parcel scans and the audit trail are deleted automatically once their period has passed. Jobs, pay, expenses, documents, messages, HR and working-time records are not deleted automatically: the company reviews them after their period and then anonymises further or deletes them. The periods are listed in the privacy policy at https://app.hklogisticsgrouplimited.co.uk/privacy
We would rather tell you this plainly than promise a deletion we are not permitted to carry out.
How long it takes
A request is actioned by an authorised administrator, normally within a few working days and in any case within one month, which is the period UK GDPR allows.
